Re: UK General Election
Can't believe we've had two days without comment.
Almost felt like I'd died and gone to heaven.. but I haven't fortunately so I thought I'd float a latest poll.. https://www.forexlive.com/news/!/uk-...on-31-20191120 "Conservatives have been in the lead and maintaining it, the latest (for the UK Tele) has Conservatives on 42% vs. Labour on 31%." So not quite in line with poll here is it? |

I bet that was the YouGov poll that MSM seem to be using. A Poll by a Tory run and owned company asking questions only in strong Tory voting areas is likely to come up with that result,

Re: UK General Election
Does anyone really care about what polls say? In other words, has anyone ever changed their choice of vote because of a poll?

People vote for many different reasons. Perceived popularity is probably quite high.
But it's exciting isn't it. Can't wait to watch the results coming in live, it might even eclipse Trump news. |

I think it’s going to be labour for me. The local conservative candidate is ok but not with BJ as PM. https://metro.co.uk/2019/11/21/lily-...-11195740/amp/ |

Or maybe you were being specific to anyone on BE. I haven't but I wouldn't rule out changing for a tactical vote. Not that I'm ever going to vote in a UK election. |
Re: UK General Election
Didn't the polls in 2016 predict that the Big Cheetoh (Trump) wouldn't be elected as President of the USA. Hell they even said he wouldn't win the Republican nomination never mind becoming President.
