The Syndicate was brilliant...anything starring Timothy Spall is good IMO. A second series is being made. He was is a series called The Street a few years ago...another good gritty UK TV drama. Just like The Syndicate...every episode revolved around a character or family that lived in The Street. Although I enjoy a lot of US TV series...there is nothing to compare to a UK TV drama.

I enjoyed Borgen and The Bridge (more Scandi drama). Second the recommendation for Silk.

I enjoyed the first series of Silk. Haven't watched the second series yet.
