If Pence can stick to the legal guidelines instead of assuming omnipotence they'll be better off though. As for planned parenthood and lgbt rights they're going to have to be protected as far as possible and then be won back when a more inclusive and compassionate administration comes to power.

Maybe Montreal born citizens be next banned from USA

The ban allowed non-Muslims from those countries to enter. Thus it was a Muslim ban even though Muslims from other countries could still enter the US.

Yes, suppose so. Just a shame the clock may be turned back a decade or two.

Luckily Trump doesn't have the power to fire the judge or I am sure he would fire any judge who rules not in the governments favor.

If anything Trump will keep the ACLU and other civil liberty organizations busy as well as the courts.

“The opinion of this so-called judge, which essentially takes law enforcement away from our country, is ridiculous"
Trump admits he favours a dictatorship.

I wondered something similar a week or so back. Not so much getting himself impeached, more being set up to fall or to just fall himself.

That sort of bollocks about the judge, you expect from the daily mail when they did it but not a nation's leader.

Tweets like that you expect fro the likes of Katie Hopkins or Sarah Palin and duffers like that. You expect a bit more self control once in a position of power.

I'll repeat an earlier comment except it's not just a bit anymore, it's all a lot like Idi Amin.

A good point. No beard, no burqa, not wearing a tunic, not waving a copy of the Koran, must be ok?

Oh, you know of Katie Hopkins? She is a piece of work. I listen to LBC quite regularly, but when Hopkins comes on, it get's turned off fairly sharpish.

Not surprising, DOJ has filed a notice to appeal.

It's hard to know what this "extreme vetting" that Trump keeps banging on about actually entails? By all accounts, the current vetting system is already very thorough, often taking over a year for refugee applicants to gain entry.

Extreme vetting, it's like animal hospital but in an active volcano

Of course. Plenty of publicity around her in the guardian. What was it refugees are cockroaches?

I first heard of her when she said something about not letting her kid associate with other kids according to the names their parents had given them.
