Some Canadians may vote for him, there are Canadians with USC and can vote in the election.
Do Canadians really care if Trump becomes President because I don't.
No wall will be built. We will still be able to travel to the USA if we wish.
He will not send US troops to invade Canada but lets face it any US President could and there would be **** all Canada could do to stop them.
He will not cut off trade between the 2 countries but he might impose more administrative regulations but I doubt it.
I don't see what all of the fuss is about as Canadians are not voting for him.
From a comedy perspective I would like to see him become President but he won't be imposing on my day to day life thats why I don't care.

WHAT IF the world ends tomorrow then its no longer a problem.
WHAT IF Clinton, Sanders or other besides Trump becomes President what is there to say they wouldn't do the same as people think Trump would.
Saying and doing are completely different and I have learned not to get to bogged down with WHAT IF'S.

Im not saying we shouldn't be interested in who they elect but seriously what are if any the ramifications for Canada if he is elected? Im just asking what they think they might be based on good evidence as opposed to WHAT IF.

Yes I do and what if anything has that got to do with Trump unless he decides to invade Canada.
I can't vote in the USA so thats ok with me.
Both countries use a democratic voting system so its up to the voter who or which party they choose to vote for.
I can't honestly think why I as a Canadian should be scared or disappointed or whatever else if Trump becomes President. How will this affect me or Canada is all Im asking.

As noted above, it's actually the Canadian candidate who's most frightening, an utter lunatic.

Fame at last!
Trump says no wall on Canadian border, except for New Brunswick | The Manatee
Never have I been more pleased to be tucked safely away where he can't find us. Watch out the rest of you!

Absolute proof the man has a screw loose. And it's NB's tap water that is to blame.
I would think it's gonna be a case of a wall to keep the sane Americans from invading Canada (to try and live here) if that nut job gets to be the big boss!

Yes but that will be fine as we'll have Donnie in charge of Diplomatic relations, and what with Kim Jong, Assad and Putin.....what could possibly go wrong
Yes FL, I care if a real buffoon is elected in the US or anywhere in the EU....I would'nt be gleeful if Marine Le Pen fought her way up the greasy pole in France, or indeed if the UK left the EU.
Big walls notwithstanding, the team heading the future of one country and it's economic and political policies tends to have a great big knock on effect on the lives of its near and not so near neighbours.

I have given reasons why Im not afraid of him becoming President and I honestly don't believe that if he became President tomorrow it would not affect my daily life.
I won't lose my job. My bank won't close nor will the shops I shop at. I will still have access to Hydro, Natural Gas, Water, TV, Internet and all the other services I use. We will still have access to public transportation and we have our own supply of resources. So what do I have to fear if Trump becomes President?

I reckon he is in cahoots with Clinton. If Trump and Clinton win the nominations, Clinton will likely win the presidency.

I had a distinct impression that a nuclear war was more likely under Reagan than others. The fall out might have affected you even if you weren't incinerated.
With some of the things Trump has said might there not be the possibility (or likelihood?) of more or greater acts of terrorism? You might get caught up in something like that even if it is only increased arguments over confiscated cellphones

Just as a matter of interest is this just Trump you feel this about or any US President?

There are allegedly 9 nations with nuclear weapons including the USA
Russia, United Kingdom, France, China, India, Pakistan, Israel and North Korea.
Of the 8 Im pretty sure 4 of them would not be threatening the USA i.e. UK, France, Israel and India. Russia, China and Pakistan if provoked could and as for North Korea they have threatened the USA without Trump being the President.
Canada said No to the US during the Gulf Wars and provided support in Afghanistan. ISIS have threatened us again with Trump not being President though he has indicated to wipe ISIS out.
All those US Presidents who have intervened and got involved in wars and skirmishes with other countries how many were called Trump? Did Canada object to or fear Presidents such as Reagan, Bush Sr, Clinton, Bush Jr and Obama?
They have all been involved at some stage of the US exercising their power.
So apart from the nuclear fallout if the US or even Canada was hit why should I worry about who the US elect as President even if it is Trump?
