The train through the mountain!

Hello to everyone
Can anyone help - we are having senior moments here in the UK - a couple of years ago Mike and I were driving from Calgary to Vancouver through the rockies etc. We came across a rest stop and stopped - it was on the way down one of the mountains - when we got out of the car and looked over the viewpoint there was this really long and I mean really long train going past us actually into a mountain - then someone said if you stand here long enough it will come out of the other hole in the mountain - guess what it did! Its true we have the photo's to prove it! Where is this - can anyone help.

It's called Spiral Tunnels and it's near Feild in the Kicking Horse Pass, Yoho National Park, BC.

It's called Spiral Tunnels and it's near Feild in the Kicking Horse Pass, Yoho National Park, BC.

There is another tunnel just like it above the highway on the other side. They were finished in 1909 to reduce the grade of the track from 4.5% to 2.2%

Every time we go past the Spiral Tunnels we stop to see if we are lucky enough to see the train go through - once we caught a service train going through but that was only one bit of train

Keep looking piff poff - it truely is an amazing thing to see - I definately hope to be able to show all my extended families when they come visiting.
