Not beyond knowing that the line in your signature comes from the sign under the windows in trains. And I only know that because a travelling companion years ago in Switzerland, more polyglot than I, thought it funny that there was an absolute prohibition in German (nicht hinauslehnen) and French (though I forget what that was) and even in English (do not lean out of the window) whereas in Italian there was just a mild admonition that it might be dangerous to do so...

Not a collective ethnic descriptor one cannot use anymore but what one pours into a visiting Italian in the hope of seeing wild dancing on smashed plates.

Not sure if it fits but yes, the idea is there.
