Feb's edition of Toronto Life provides some area descriptors? Wondering how accurate they are and, if the description fits any BE-ers (not necessarily from TO)...!

This might have been a good idea if accompanied by some investment in the transition, but of course it wasn't. The result was a permanent conflict between Toronto itself, where, in general, the (by Canadian standards) sophisticated activities take place, and the dreadful not-so-outer suburbs where the lumpen proletariat stuff fast food and Timmies down their bloated throats and argue about distribution territories. I note that Richmond Hill holds itself above all this.:) |
