Better team won, despite possible penalties. They were definitely better in the second half. Can't win games like that when only 4/5 players turn up for the second half and one of the best performers is a 35 year old

Just when I thought Scottish football couldn't get any more depressing......

I bet he'll still manage not to win any trophies.

With Rangers back in the same division, it won't be as easy as Celtic have been having it for the last few seasons.

Spotted this on Twitter, and I'm not having a go at Utd as most of the big clubs are just the bloody same ..... The Beautiful game, just how much is enough

Re: The Toon Army / EPL thread

United have a seven-year shirt sponsorship deal with Chevrolet – a division of General Motors - worth £357 million and were keen to resolve any possible conflict of interest with Mourinho’s financial arrangement with Jaguar.

Mourinho also has an endorsement deal with Hublot, the Swiss watch maker who used to be a United sponsor, but the Manchester club have a tie up with Bulova, an American watch company, which presented another complication.
It's written as if it's not happened before, but I believe there are loads of similar examples of individual players with sponsorship deals "clashing" with team/club sponsors.

If those 'clashes' are resolved I see no difference when it's a manager.

Yes I know. I hoped by including only the quote from the tweet and by referring to the way it was written that I'd show I was only referring to that aspect.
