I've been trying to find the quote, but no luck.
What did Ferguson say this time?
<i was very surprised that after 3 min of added time were announced the ref blew the final whistle a mere 3 min later, wasn't he told?>

Speaking of Neville....supposed captain of the team, not injured and doesn't even make the subs bench.....
Well this does mean that Man U really are concentrating on beating Chelsea for the premier league crown and keeping Rooney's ankle safe from further injury for the upcoming World Cup.
All in all over the two legs Man U were beaten by the better team...and that goal by Robben was a thing of beauty...ditto for the 1st two Man U goals.

Something about the 'germans' who hounded the ref into giving a yellow card on Rafael against Ribery which then resulted in a red card. He said something in his post game commentary (not to the BBC though) about 'typical german' behaviour. He really is an odious twunt with his bitterness. Although I'm a Man U fan (and born in the NW), SAF is hard to take with his myopic outlook on all things Man U. His little lackey/lap dog, Neville, is cut from the same cloth.

Nice to see a balanced view on the other topics though, I suppose you dont get to the top being a good loser, but SAFs lack of grace in defeat is still breathtaking sometimes. Robbens goal was every bit as good as Nanis, and Rafael was plain dumb to pick up the first card, which would have made any hounding of the ref less contentious for the second... not that United players would ever surround and berate a ref, Oh no, that would never happen....

Are these not mutually incompatible concerns. I doubt SAF gives two monkeys whether Rooney plays for England in the world cup...in fact I would guess he would prefer it if he didnt

Thanks for the credit on the balanced view on MUFC...SAF seems to be a real good manager but his on screen persona needs some polishing. His constant reference to young(ish) players as 'boys' is annoying.
You are correct about that thug Keane and his contempories who were also trying to bait refs into giving cards especially at OT.
Hopefully over the summer Neville, Anderson, Berbatov, Foster are shown the door and the likes of Nani, Rooney, Valencia, Vidic, Ferdinand, Macheda are offered water tight contracts.

Before this gets out of hand....
I've just read that the average home attendance in Newcastle this year has been 42,796. Not bad for the Championship and the fifth highest in English football.
<cue fat naked geordie remarks>
