Today's shootings

One at the NSA and another school shooting. At least 14 injured in Florida.

According to the report there have been 8 school shootings with injury or death this year, plus two gun suicides and 8 times a gun was fired but no injury.

18

Since January 1st.

Take out xmas holiday and weekends and that's a gun shooting incident at school more than every other day.

Someone who was reportedly a member of '#resistance' and some people claim a member of 'antifa' shoots up a school, and you think ordinary Americans are going to give up their guns?

Re: Today's shootings

America is in the political phase of a civil war right now, and most of the Americans I know online expect the left to turn it into a hot civil war before long. Even if this scumbag turns out to be Donald Trump's illegitimate Mexican son, they still wouldn't give up their guns, because they don't want to be part of the next Holodomor.

If they gave up their AR-15's that would be a start.

Just another day in the US of A.

I'm surprised someone has actually started a thread on it.

Why not start a thread saying "This morning I got out of bed"?

What sites do you go to in order to find such views?

You don't need to visit sites, just switch on the TV to taste the invective being whipped up. If you have a lunatic who'll shoot up a school because he's got a gripe, then look around, the place is full of lunatics, each of whom's full of hate and fear for the otherside... and there are so many other sides to choose from.

Re: Today's shootings

I think Michael Moore summed it up pretty well in his documentary 'Bowling for Columbine'.

"Climate of fear"

Regardless, it's awful news and sad.

It's not like you to miss that's what I tried to capture in the thread title I chose, especially when the opening comment was very much about the regularity of it.

Bad day? ;)

This one https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...oting-maryland

It was the first report I saw - very little detail at the time - and then the school shooting overtook it.

Ah ok. Had not heard about
that one. Spoilt for choice when it comes to the USA and shootings.
