I remember when I was a kid, and nearly every house would be lit up in lights.

Now blocks of houses and no lights except for the one or two odd ones.

Times are changing.

Christmas is just beautiful. It's like a great celebration. There's mince pies, Christmas cake, turkey and crackers. It's like a theatrical production of a play. I like snowballs (to drink, ha!) also. I just wish Christmas wasn't at such a cold time of year and because Joseph and Mary had their/our baby in the desert area and it was probably a lot warmer than we would have thought. Makes you wonder about Christmas cards. Merry Christmas to you all!

Re: Time for a Christmas thread?

I had two Xmas cards from the UK that were identical. A robin sitting on top of a red post box, with a dusting of snow on it. The two senders live within two miles of each other. People don’t send cards much anymore, so it was a nice coincidence.
