But you'd likely accept that individual choice is an ephemera these days and that "choice" is determined (among the consumerist majority) by what they hear on TV and other marketing outlets?

Yes for many (not all) I think marketing influences their choice.

And the only thing that Tim Horton's does that is more sickly-sweet than their produce is their marketing. All rosy-cheeks and cozy jumpers... Canadians cannot get enough of it.

I checked the local telephone directory, there are 3 T Hortons, not sure if they are Tom, tim, tony or tiger! Makes no difference, if they were coffee shops, I could not frequent them, the coffee is garbage.
