Default Thread of the Day award goes to....

We used to live in the Middle East, so I occasionally read the threads on the BE Middle East board to see what folks there are gibbering about. I saw this cracker and thought I'd share it with you. It's great! Shows that accusations of 'lack of research' aren't limited to Canada!

hahaha best start practising squealing like a pig then boy!

Seriously though the guy in the original thread apparently travels all over the world for work but seems totally clueless about whats right under his nose - I think we should hijack that thread and give him some more 'sensible' advice!

K on that note I need a fag and I have a deer to cut up.

Nah, Steve, it's just that it was Thursday evening there... that's the start of the Arabic weekend. Thursday night is like Friday and Saturday night rolled into one!

Are there many in that part of the forum? I used to lurk on the south east asia section and that used to get 2 posts a week or something stupid. If you want real comedy about hapless guys with asian girlfriends and the crap they go through because of it, visit http://www.thaivisa.com and read the forums.

Yes, there is a lot of activity in the Middle East forum - far more than the Far East forum.

But recently it's mostly about how they're all losing their jobs, or how to skip the country before your bank account gets frozen (as frequently happens when your employer terminates your contract.)
