Tearoom??? I thought you were moving to Tronno.. Aysgarth is nice. Bolton Abbey is nice, Bolton Greater Manc/Lancs isn't quite so.. FL will no doubt disagree

Bolton is part of Greater Manchester and not Lancashire so that is also a **** hole even their football team doesn't actually play in Bolton.

I misread this initially. You don't want searches there, well not by strangers anyway.

I've heard that when you fly to Liverpool they take your cell phone and laptops/tablets, apparently it isn't security at all, that's just what Scousers do...

And its not classified as theft either as you voluntarily gave them the items.
And NO Liverpool is not part of Lancashire either.

Rubber gloves are for pansies. Now that rigorous pat down is something I could go for

No, visiting Tronno. I'm not sure what I'm doing yet. The old man would need a visa and get his skills transferred and a load of other crap to move to Canada. Being English he can go back any time and I qualify for an ancestry visa so it's easy to go to the UK. We'll see.

My mother worked in Liverpool hospitals & (for her sins) eventually ended up working at North Tees (Stockton) & James Cook (M'boro'). We always managed to live far enough away (over the Yorkshire county line) from both .

The move over here was a wise choice

He said that when we go to where he's from for me to just stab myself and save the locals the effort.

I used to go to Middlesbrough to watch Yorkshire play cricket. I can't think of any other reason to go there.
