Thornton's have now started selling the old traditional sweeties we used to see in our local shops when we were kids:

Strawberry bonbons, sweet peanuts, chocolate limes, pear drops, shrimps, sherbet fountains, dip dabs, fruit salad, black jacks........

Reminds me of the day decimilisation started. God, I am getting on a bit

For a reasonable price yes, there are few stores in Calgary that already sell these sorts of sweets.

Yeah there is here as well, but normally out of date and way over priced
Spoke with a company and there is ways around the no shipping to canada and america, just need to see if it is worth it

the other musical one I always recall is the sharps & flats key-signature thingy: sharps are Father Charles Goes Down And Ends Battle and flats are Battle Ends And Down Goes Charles' Father... I remember thinking it was really clever how it was the same words in the reverse order but made sense in both directions, and it just stuck in my mind.
