Default Thinking of moving to Vancouver.

Its Saturday morning Im bored and the EPL has finished. We are always seeing threads on thinking of moving to Vancouver or how much does a house cost etc so for all of you thinking of moving to Vancouver (not the outlying areas) then take these 2 tests.

You can't fool us.

That's not Vancouver, it's Moncton.

Then again if I was thinking of moving to Hackney then I might be in the market for this

while i get the humour and it certainly says little for vancouver's real estate, the value is in the land, not the houses.

Here is what you can get out of the city (about 45 mins south) for the same price...hence why i dont live in Vancouver proper anymore:

A "Tudor" home - perhaps HenryXIII lived there? A "Bosch" oven also - how splendid.

Okay...9 acrs here....for the price of a city standard lot in the city.

Prices in the city proper and close by are silly, out a bit, not so much so.

still, nice house, fully reno'd, 6 thousand sq feet, and sitting on 5 acres, about 40 mins from some of those 'other houses'....still good value even by English standards...and Henry would have been very comfy!

Nice, semi rural area, known for horse rearing, very reminiscent of the rural areas around Goodley in Manchester....minus the quaint villages and country pubs of course.
