Macaroni with cheese! I see any form of Mac and cheese coming and run for the exit

100% agree with you about the gherkin but 100% disagree with you about the mac and cheese....home made of course, not Kraft dinner.

Depends on the curry.

Goes great with ones made with curry powder. Even better with sliced banana added to the plate. Yum.

Not good with the Thai and Indian curries.

I once brought some cheap own brand curry sauce - the basics range or something when I was at University and I was shocked and appalled that there were sultanas in it.

As you know already I don't like sultanas or currents in anything [/QUOTE]

Agree. (Sultanas and raisins can be omitted from most foods IMO.)

Also hate onion pieces in a curry, especially a CTM. M&S right now does what would be a nice CTM, but totally spoils it by a liberal inclusion of grated onions. Why?!

Conversely, there's curry that's not called curry - Butter Chicken.

I bought one once that was almost as hot as a vindaloo I once ate that was like having my lips slit with a razor.

The Butter Chicken? Yes.

It's not bad in the jars and there's even a half decent powder. I'm not sure what this one was, I just remember there were two components. Sauce mix and spice mix, I suppose.

It was way too hot. I managed a portion from the result but then I had to add something to the leftovers to take the edge off.
