There's something wrong with my gin and tonic

I know, I know, you shouldn't stray from Schweppes tonic water but I was lured by that milkybar kid, Galen Weston.

Lord knows what possessed me to by Beefeater gin. The combination makes a vile gin and tonic

So, should I open that bottle of Tanqueray or will the PC tonic contaminate that as well?

It's hard to make a decision on such an important matter, what would you advise? In the meantime I am having to drink Cointreau with crushed ice.

Yes you better open the Tanqueray. I like my G & T pink, with a dash of Angastura. I'll have one now to sympathize with you. After all happy hour starts here in five minutes at 5.00 p.m. Bottoms up !

I think you should share it around and we'll give you a second opinion! :p

I'm more of a red wine girl, sorry.

I find it strangely easy to get swayed by Galen Weston. Have no idea why!

Prefer Bombay Saphire myself. No preference to tonic water.

I've had PC tonic water and didn't like it, but Compliments is fine.

But then Whisky and 7Up is my tipple. Thank you Henry Blake.:)

Could it be because he saves you $26 out of $100?

Yeah. No-one ever saw Galen Weston and John Denver in the same room either.

Well, not since Denver flew out into the Pacific.

You poor love - what suffering! :D
What about having gin lime and soda...gin and orange...gin and it (vermouth). Not that I know anything about alcohol of course. :confused_smile:Hic....

Re: There's something wrong with my gin and tonic

Thank you all for your sympathy, support and advice.

The cointreau is going down very well. I may have another. I've tried gin and ginger, it's ok, but not quite right.

Gin cointreau, lemon and syrup is very nice indeed, I think it's called a White Lady. hic

So will batter on with the cointreau and save the Beefeater for guests.

Has anyone else ever noticed that the second G & T is never as good as the first?

Gin and bitter lemon is fabulous. Try it sometime.
