Woke up to Ottawa type weather here in Calgary this morning not forecasted at all, now they're saying up to 15cm possible, 30cm northeast of here. :eek::eek:

Mrs_P is packing right now and we are out here first thing tomorrow morning.

WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH!!!

Of winter that is and we are headed for three weeks in Hawaii.:p:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Pictures taken 30 minutes ago, no sign of it letting up. :thumbdown:

We just had a call from one of our guys due in from Calagary saying he couldn't get because of the snow - and he's not joking I see :eek:

We are really looking forward to this trip.

We are going with our best friends and while on this trip we will be celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary (Saturday) and mine and Mrs_P's birthdays.

The camera is almost packed the bags are filling up and the cab comes to take us to the airport at 4:00am tomorrow morning. :eek::)

OH rang me from the office in Calgary at 7.30am to say it was snowing hard there - only the finest icing sugar dusting here at that time and now that has all gone! Even though we are just to the south of Calgary! Wierd! :huh:

Ditto! We're 35 mins north of downtown Calgary - and barely a flake - I don't get it. Well actually, I'm glad we didn't get it ;)

Hubby phoned me from work about 8.30 this morning giving all the gory details (bet he's had a busy day :sneaky: ) - how weird - I'd just walked the dog and there was about an inch on the ground in Cochrane. My neighbour got half way down Sarcee Trail and gave up and came home.

Hawaii ? - have fun Steve - you lucky (insert impolite word here) ...... ! :D

Isn't this the most severe snow you've had all winter...every picture/weather forecast I've seen for Calgary this winter has been sunny and above freezing most of the time.

I took some pics of Bow Trail this morning on my 2 hour journey to the office......it was a parking lot with some buses stopped sideways in the middle of the road, no-one could get up the hill because it was so slippery - was anyone stuck in that???

I actually went straight online as soon as i got to work to check out holidays, anything but this would be great right now!
