I cleared the porch and did the roof as far as I could reach.
Now he's not helping with the dishes, the laundry, vacuuming, tidying, cleaning the bathrooms, making the beds, cleaning the cat litter, nor is he making casserole for dinner, or cleaning out the fridge.

A modest 15-20cm for eastern Nfld. Almost not worth commenting on althoughs schools and the University are closed. What is nice is that as it is relatively cold (-7) here, it's that fluffy easy to move snow, as opposed to the wet concrete variety.

Pretty disappointed we didnt get the snow day that was forecast - I suppose that case of beer in the bar fridge can live to fight another day 
Strange snow we had - more like "Alberta Snow" that our usual wet 100lb a shovel load snow

We had quite a dump of snow last night. 10,000 without power locally but we are okay so far. Did a double shift at work and was able to get home okay this morning but then again my commute is only about 3km. A bit slippery but I have a CRV with winter tires and it copes really well.
OH and my boys did a great job clearing our 120ft driveway. I knew my teenagers would come in handy some day

Talking of clearing driveways. I heard of someone yesterday who didn't get to work on time for the afternoon shift as the snow plow man hadn't been so she couldn't get out of her drive. She did manage to 4km to her keep fit class and then 4km back home again...

I saw the snowfall warning (for here), on the internet weather report this morning. I thought "is this a joke, a really ****ing bad joke?"
Then I remembered I'm in Canada, and it's almost 2012, and they said the world was about to end a long time ago. I'm ok with this. We have bacon.

Could you specify more closely a "very large amount"? (Your choice of units of course, I'm multilingual and can handle cm, millifeet, microfurlongs or at stretch, cubits).
