My kids assure me that it's traditional to give presents at Thanksgiving, but I didn't believe them!

A true Canadian would have won the frozen turkey at a turkey bingo and would have to have salad with all the trimmings. A classic like coleslaw and maybe a new trendy one the is 'in' at the moment. pmsl but it is true. At least it is in my large family of loonies!
Me? I am totally English now and would insist on roast potatoes. Mind you, I would have them with every meal. Best British food invented.

And for all of you not in Canada yet so cannot buy a ready made pumpkin pie, get yourself down to Waitrose and buy some canned pumpkin and make one yourself, easy peasy.

And hot buns do you mean hot cross buns or hot bread rolls? And what do season sprouts with?
I am genuinely curious. I love talking about food! Sorry.

Well, very nice it all was - chicken, ham, roasties, broccoli, carrots, Paxo sage'n'onion stuffing, homemade cranberry jelly and ...Bisto gravy! Aahhhh Bisto! Topped off with apple pie and ice cream! Yum!
And there's so much left over, I'm doing it all again tonight!!!
