Not to be told how the make/agree dope/weed or any other version.
How much Drum do you get for $50? How much does the same amount of Golden Virginia cost in the UK?

I only stopped smoking about 5 years ago, but it's 5 decades since I rolled my own (tabasco) smokes.

I'm out of touch with pricing.

Not sure about how much you get, it's just a pouch, in UK cost is about $15.00 unless you can get someone to bring back from Europe and then it's cheaper.

Missed this. In my current milieu it's spelled and pronounced "tabac", so yes.

Not the week to remind me that you are en France. I bet it's spring there and everything.

I'm not sure why but thinking of Novo in France I suddenly imagined four children and a dog.

Is Novo really Uncle Quentin?

Once in Paris we paid the extortionate amount demanded to go up the Eiffel Tower. Because of the way the jam-packed queuing system worked I was able to see a small elderly French woman and what I assume to be her grand-daughter work her way from well back in the queue to well ahead of us. It was amazing to see. Sheer brass-neck in action. She ended up well ahead of us, and was coming back down before we even got to the top.

I have never been so impressed, and envious, in my life. I don't care about their dress sense, but that sort of arrogance has to be an asset in life?

Paris? Like London, Paris is unto itself. Everywhere else in France, the folk are extremely warm and polite. I've only been back since last Thursday evening and my lips are sore from kissing all the locals on the cheeks.

ETA: Do I have a vague recollection that you studied in Reims?

Indeed. I had to put up the parasol in the cours today because the sun was too hot for comfortable dining.

I did. Now the Remois can be stand offish! When I lived there in the late 80s unless you had your own vineyard you were nothing!
I actually married my first husband in eglise Sainte Jeanne d’Arc in Reims... the priest thought it was very ironic!!
