Swallowed a coin!

Not me!
My darling 7 yr old confessed to swallowing a coin, LAST YEAR! At dinner tonight she finally decided that I needed to know. I asked whether it had reappeared through the necessary channels but she wasn't sure.
Anyone got a spare X-ray machine or metal detector?......
Bloody children!

Chances are it's gone thru, I don't think she fished out and checked every poo since did she?

If it had gotten stuck you probably would of heard about it by now but Bats would probably know if she should get an x-ray or not.

She often complains about tummy ache! I put it down to my bad cooking. Cue paranoid mother!

Hey Tootle, it is likely to have gone through, around 80 -90% pass without incident but if she is getting symptoms , I would see your GP ( or the hunky locum) and they might get a plain abdominal film. The abdominal are more then likely unrelated but it would be worth getting her checked up- get an apt with your GP and go on from there

Thanks, she needs to go for something else so I will mention it!

A couple of gallons of prune juice should do the trick

My vet posted a picture of a time that was stuck in a cat. I knew stomach and digestive stuff was strong, but you'd never think it was a dime...
The cat was super ill, and clearly had something wrong in its tummy.
