I love flying... absolutely love it, but I hate booking a flight. I think I'm going to book the wrong day to fly and I just made a date with the grim reaper. I don't think of myself as very superstitious but honestly I know that I am.
After the remover/packer/shipper dudes left today I suddenly realised that I better book a flight cos there's not really much else to do.... and thinking I thought...'hmmm, next Monday would be good'.... check calendar... OMFG :scared:
But I think I'm going to tempt fate! ***** it!
( I've had a few
ok only two... but on an empty tummy )
Anyone else hate booking flights? Or have any weird superstitions? Fess up!!!

Tempting fate more than superstitious... I can't do certain things in case I tempt it, um, like (oh goodness soooo silly I can't even think now LOL)
However, we were going to get married on Friday 13th but chickened out - we flew all the way to Aus on that day instead

Yes, just generally superstitious, but in my heart of hearts I know it is all rubbish. As an example, today a colleague, passing the time of day, asked "how it was all going" (meaning my work), "fine" I replied, "if the instrument keeps going" and almost giving myself a brain haemorrhage in an attempt to tap my head (knock on wood) whilst keeping an eye on two countdown timers. Less than 15minutes later, my instrument went down, not to be resurrected until tomorrow at the earliest. Either my head is just not woody enough or superstition is all bunkum.
