Re: The Summer's Cricket.

260-7 for England in the 1st ODI. Unless we get early wickets I don't think this is a big enough target. Nice to see Finn in the side.

What did I say about Finn?

It's now 96-7 for Pakistan. I'd say England are in with a decent chance at this one.

Edit: Make that 109-8.

Getting Afridi out was key. I think we're almost there.

One more to go.

And according to Bob Willis, "they're down to the rats and mice, they've got no chance." :)

Good call Oink, good call indeed. I think Mr Finn has signed in for the remainder of the series. Now if Bresnan can be fit, who to leave out ? Anderson ?

Just one more wicket for an England win. Huzzah !

That's a tough one. Bresnan is not as fast as Finn but a much better batter. It depends if its swinging or you need an impact bowler. Finn at test level can get pretty spendy and leak runs when he's tired. It'll be interesting to see who performs well in the summer. Although a three game series against SA is not enough of a test imo, I'd have liked to seen five.

Rehman looked terrible. Wish he was still in.

Well, well. Another 4 wickets for the Finn-ster and another England win. Beginning to look like we *really* should've played him in the tests....

While I like Monty I was never convinced that we should have played two spinners in the tests.
