Our holiday this year was dictated by Josh Groban announcing a US tour - so we picked a relatively close location on a vaguely suitable date and will be doing a road trip around Oregon. Can’t wait! Ooh, and without kids too.

I took three dozen dead rats to the dump on Saturday. Most of them poisoned, some blatted in traps. Touch wood that seems to be the end of the rats. I can't claim skill though, I called the same firm that dealt with the hornets and the cluster flies and let them define the multi-pronged approach.
