Re: Summer 2015

we've been using our fans for the last 10 days ....... floor model near the computer, large desk-type ones in the bedrooms. Life is very tolerable with them.

Going to be a long summer at work since we don't have A/C and with all the electronic crap in the office, it becomes toasty on a normal day, on a 28-30 degree day it will be downright miserable, .....
Could you use one or more fans in the office? A small one, blowing just on you, would be quite cheap.

Its usually 26-29 on my shift in the middle of the night inside the office, cannot imagine what it is during the day when its 26+ outside.

Have the window A/C set up already, only needing to use it in the evening to cool off the living room from the afternoon/evening sun.

26 and sunny today, rain in the forecast next week though.

Ooh dear me, that sounds awful, we have excellent air conditioning in our office (what do you expect from Americans) but even so, it looks much too warm and sunny out there to be stuck in an office all afternoon. I'm off to splash out.

The weekend...
Starts here :)

I bought my own fan to take with me to work, so its more tolerable, and I open the front doors wide open overnight so the cooler air can come in, it makes it tolerable, its the day shifts that are hard since its not cool outside like it is overnight so no cool air to come in.....

There is an A/C unit, but the unit is like 25 years old, and appears the compressor is dead on it.
