The last couple of days hit 30°C, cooler and sunny today though.
I had fun on the lawn tractor, last evening, trying to outrun a cloud of nasty black flies

In contrast I had to turn on the bum warmer in the car this morning on the way to work in the 4C dank gloom of a Newfoundland morning. Still, it was 20C last couple of days and forecast to be up around that level at the weekend. THe grass'll need cutting and I too will be trying to outrun the blackflies like Greenhill.

Was also outrunning blackflies on the dog walk last night - horrible pointless little things.

In Vancouver we'll mostly ski in the morning, sail in the afternoon, evening bbq on the beach, then leave all the empties for the hobo's to collect.
Although today, i'm working from my balcony in my underpants, watching the boats go by.

I am working, comrades, building socialism. My niece in Putney is marrying an Englishman John something or other and is bringing him to Vancouver in July and we all want to scrutinise him so planning is in early stages for that trip. I may drive to Oliver but bus into Van for 3-4 days. Does anyone still go to that WISE Club place? I think my friend's new rental is still in E Van Nanaimo Stn area but I have to check my files for the address.

So, tell us, you can perform your line of work (rentboy) anywhere in the world. So why choose Vancouver?

Re: Summer 2015
We work all summer, so nothing fun going on, but so far its been warm and dry, not much rain at all, I think its going to be a dry summer, and with the lack of snow pack from winter, I wonder how long it will be until we have water restrictions in place, during a normal year, the aquifer comes close to being drained in July and Aug, they can in an emergency pump water from the river, but that brings its own issues.
Going to be a long summer at work since we don't have A/C and with all the electronic crap in the office, it becomes toasty on a normal day, on a 28-30 degree day it will be downright miserable, one of the office staff with migraine issues went on medical EI as the heat kept triggering migraines. Its usually 26-29 on my shift in the middle of the night inside the office, cannot imagine what it is during the day when its 26+ outside.
Have the window A/C set up already, only needing to use it in the evening to cool off the living room from the afternoon/evening sun.
26 and sunny today, rain in the forecast next week though.
