The crime commited was a con leading to sexual assault. Hilarious, and not deserving of sympathy. Your words. You still stand by them?

yes bats I do

to repeat: hilarious that they were so stupid to let it happen

but that it happened is anything but hilarious

it is hard to be sympathetic at this level of idiocy

bats, really it is not all that difficult, so what is it that you wont, can't, or don't understand?:)

Whether this shower story is some kind of Benny Hill mishap or an example of vulnerable women being exploited very much depends on the individual(s) involved. Some women might laugh at their own gullibility but I suspect most would feel tricked and vulnerable. It may well be time to agree to disagree. ;)

Shard ... I just can't see that.

Surely 99.9999% of women would NOT fall for this sort of thing (and that includes bats).

So how could most feel tricked and vulnerable?

This is sheer idiocy, not to be compared to victims of fraud or, worse still, victims of date rape

I think most people would feel worse about being the victim of an assault if they knew they could have avoided it, had they seen the trick, and worse still if they thought people were laughing at them for their mistake. The situation is similar to that of a male tourist lured into an alley on the promise of, er, carnal pleasures, only to get mugged instead. He might curse himself for having fallen for an old line, obvious after the fact, but that wouldn't bring back his wallet.

We get it, Mike, you're an accountant, you don't go into alleys, you don't take your suit off in the shower, but not everyone's like that.

They should have got a lot more than 7 years. Stupid and criminal. A good example of the dangers of Faith.

LOL - who in their right mind would fall for "You must take a shower whilst the technician is there" To me that would mean it's a scam right away, and i'd tell them to shove off!

Some people

a fair point

and what about the children of the J.W.?

Gawd forbid they would need a blood transfusion or would the hospital intervene?

I assume for a J.W. this 'article of faith' still holds?
