The contractors that we have been dealing with for a year and a half. They really annoy me. Like really annoy me. But I am now able to argue with people without collapsing into a heap of tears, so there is a bright side I suppose :0)

yeah I always go through the enter the number etc crap in the vain hope that I can avoid talking to a real person. At least an automated system can't try to sell you insurance.

Seriously I had to be most insistant that I wanted to opt out of it. Their sales patter was very clever and some people may not ahve realised that the insurance was optional the way they read the script!

Called UPS today to arrange for a package that needs to be picked up by o/h in Red Deer to be held on to by them for an extra few days til he gets home.

Rang the number and oh joy, it's one of those "press 1 for this, 2 for that" etc"

My annoyance goes up 100% immiediately because none of the options seem to correspond to what I wanted - so I wait til all of them are finished and for the computer to say "if you want to be connected to a person......" but it didn't :frown: so I pressed 5 (no idea what 5 was) and proceeded to tell it to f**k off every time it asked me to enter something on the keypad.

Afer 5 times of "i'm sorry we didn't understand that" they put me through to a person - and I was calm because I swore at someone!

oooh ooh and the bloody voice telling me to remove the unauthorised item form the pissing blagging area on the self checkouts at the supermarket! Am I the only person that has a full on convo with thoes things???

My super efficient telus dial up internet and phone service that has for 4 days been working about 1/2 hour out of each 24.

And my car that decided not to start this morning.

And the 6 inches of fresh snow that will likely render aforementioned car motionless half way down the drive even if I do manage to get it started.

Today I have mostly been annoyed.

Sons school, for ignoring my weekly phone calls about a claim on their insurance, for my sons teeth that were knocked out before christmas in a unfortunate curling incident.

Thread titles such as "opinions please", "read this", "what do you think", "advice"... that tell you nothing about the thread itself and assume everyone has all day to just endlessly click on titles to see if any are in any way relevant to them and/or whether they can contribute in any way.:frown:

Amen to that - and another to add to the pot - "Urgent please help" as I said in a thread today when I read that I expect drama, maybe a prison cell and some police involved - but no disappointingly enough todays "urgent" post was "what the best was to send an application Mississauga".

What a let down :thumbdown:
