That may work for a spectacular beauty such as yourself, but for the disadvantaged average man in the street, it's a sure recipe for a bottle in the face.

Perhaps I should find a more up-market establishment?

Activating credit cards

You call the number , navigate the menu system

Then you enter your card number , get momentarily confused when looking fr the "pound key"

Enter the expiry date

The Cvv

Your phone number

Your date of birth

Only to get connected to an operator who then proceeds to ask you for:

The card number
The expiry date

Etc

WHY ????????:frown:

Oh and then try to flog you insurance

Similar for Rogers call centre. Enter your phone number & when you finally get through to a human being the first thing they ask for is your phone number. I suspect entering your phone number is just to give you something to do whilst you are in a queue.

Also with the CRA. They call me to ask about a client. They ask me some questions to establish I am the authorized contact. Their first question is, "what is your phone number?"

Didn't you just call it?

WTF IS ASPARTAME and why is it said as if i'm meant to go "oh well thats it then, i'm definately buying it if there's no aspartame in it, I've been plagued by yoghurts with aspartame and now thank the lord here's one with none." When the f**k did whatever aspartame is become important

I have an intolerance to Aspartame. If I'm not careful and have something that contains this, I get headaches and can become dizzy (I said dizzy, not ditzy!). I've never been told it could kill me before, but I'm certainly diligent about reading labels of stuff I rarely buy.

Spending an hour cleaning the carpet on my staircase only to have one of my housemates walk up and down it in shoes from outside a matter of hours after I asked her specifically not to use shoes on the carpet now that it is clean!!! :frown:

One thing you'll like about Canada is the unwritten rule to remove one's shoes in own and someone else's home. Not doing so may result in summary execution.

When irritated with my partner, he does housework to mollify me.

For example, this morning, gets up, loads the dishwasher and puts it on. Never mind that

a) He didn't empty the dishwasher of the clean plates and stuff that I'd put through it the night before

b) He puts it on when we're paying the most expensive hydro rate.

So umm, paying above the odds to run the dishwasher to clean dishes that are already mostly clean. And forgetting to put the coffee jug/ coffee grounds thingummy in at the same time :frown:

MEN!
