Its those blimmin commercials that they turn the volume up on so you end up sitting there twiddling around with the volume on the telly - aaargh - share your pain on that one!

That's so you can still hear the commercials while you're fixing a snack or gone to the bathroom for a pee.

But I don't want too. Actually the programme I was watching kept going loud and quiet and then there are the films where they whisper and then have a explosion or loud music, so you think your deaf one minute and then you get deafened the next. I hate it!

See, if you were a paranoid type or easily suggestable I would say it's done just to annoy you.

Truly, I don't know why they do it either and it drives me mental. We get the same thing here in Aus. Turn the volume up to 50% for the TV show then hit mute as soon as the commercials come on or it's like being at a heavy metal concert.

I'm with on this one......the lady squashed my bread yesterday. An a other thing that annoys me, we have about 12 of those huge bags, why do they always packed that bag so full, on the end it is so heavy to pick up, thats why I bought lots, I offered to pack my own stuff, but some of them wanna do it for me.

It's got the stage where several of the cashiers know me now, and just say to the twit at the end of the aisle "oh, ann likes to pack her own" - or if I approach a new cashier, I just say with the sweetest smile I can muster - "I'll pack for you, I like doing it" !!

When strangers on the phone use your first name, over and over again. What's with that here?

Or when you walk from your table to go and pick up your leftover food in a restaurant only to find your waitress nibbling on your naan bread.

Actually, takeaway boxes after a meal in a restaurant really annoy me. Firstly, it proves that the portion sizes are too big - I don't want to order a meal that's so big it'll take me 2 days to eat it. Give me less and charge me less.

Secondly, I've seen people asking the waitress to box up what I would call the scrapings. Who needs a pork chop bone and a bit of wilted salad that much?

Having to go into work for a pointless meeting on a Sunday morning on long weekend and having to play stupid Jeopardy games and trying to give the other two teams a chance to answer the questions but trying to hurry things along so we can actually go home again.
