I'm with you willmore on this. Put yourself in danger then it's your choice but putting a child at risk is selfish in this instance to say the least. No excuse. All he had to to was trip over his own foot and it would have been a different story. Oh and as far as I know dogs are domesticated pets, I've yet to see a domesticated crocodile. Unless you know different! ;) |

Not as whacko as Treadwell ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grizzly_Man |

what sort of marine biologist? Was just listening to a local radio station and they had people phoning in to say they were glad he was dead as he was against seal hunting and had spoken out about it! |

My daughter thinks she put a jinx on him, she was watching a programme with him in only the day before and she was saying to her boyfriend she was amazed he had survived so long, and lo and behold the next day!!!! Better be careful what I say to her in future :scared:

No doubt my comments will upset many of you, but the man was known to do stupid things - we all remember the incident with his month-old son and the croc. The man obviously loved animals but had little respect for them......his main concern was being a showman and a showoff. It's a sad loss for his family - I'll say no more.

Not enough to wish him dead of course and condolences obviously to family and friends but is this really a national tradgedy in Oz. Think I'll have to pop next door and see whether my Ozzie neighbours are in mourning....... |
Re: Steve Irwin
I looked earlier - not much mourning going on more worried about a decent hairdresser in Brisbane. :)
