Songs that get you blubbin'...
No doubt we all read about Nick Clegg - the big jessie! - having a good old cry to himself to music because everybody hates him and he just wants to be loved... The Grauniad put this piece together about the songs that make them cry (and some weird choices there are in there!)
So come on.. what song gets you, every time? For me, it's got to be This Mortal Coil - Song to the Siren. (But I don't actually cry. Maybe just a very manly sniff. ;)) (As a favour to me, if you put a Youtube link, please also name the song & artist, as I can't see YT clips here!) |

Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon and Garfunkel.
It doesn't make me cry - but the music starts off so very slowly and delicately and then reaches a crescendo. The crescendo part makes my skin tingle. The same thing happens with 'The Rose'. |

This also gets a bit of mist welling in up, I want to say its because of the subject matter but in truth its because I miss graduate school.

Hope to be doing the same again soon, this time forever. |
