Phew
took voluntary redundancy today, my last day tommorrow, I've only been there 2 years but have got enough to tide us over till Feb, as long as the house has all gone through by then
No chain or anything though so should be exchanging soon, I had to take it rather then watch someone else lose their job only for me to hand my notice in weeks later!
It also means i Have time off to sort out the move rather than April doing it all while I'm working my notice
Aiming to be in Calgary 1st week in Feb!!!!
though I was hoping for a Canadian christmas last month.....
It will be strange not working for 6 weeks or so before the move, We would have never spent so much time together, it's either emigration.... or divorce!!!

Congratulations, you will soon be there and a great position to be in to have some time to get things organised without work getting in the way
I am planning a month off before we move, hubby reckons I will be there until 2 days before we go

Well done you

Not long now, i am sure that the time will fly by
my hubby did that and ended up working for a friend before we moved, it was either that or he moved back to his parents
No honest you will have a blast and be you know it you will be here, enjoy

Cheers for the great replies
This is April as Dave is currently spending his last morning at work. Aaahhhh! Thought i should say thanks to you rather than Dave as the last time i spoke to him at 10:30, his workmates were about to take him down the pub for a farewell beer( or 4
) he most probably won't be back on here today depending on how he feels or rather how much he has drunk
Just hope hes not too bad as we have our youngest sons nativity to watch this afternoon!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks again everyone, i don't know what we would have done without this site

We're sure he will be entirely modest and restrained in his drinking...not!
