It seems to me that when there is snow around the Canadians and the Brits treat it completely differently. Canadians see it as an inconvenience and just shovel it. We have only seen one snowman since being here.
The Brits on the other hand are very creative but ordinary snowmen seem to have given way to giant knobs, couples engaging in sex (great one on facebook) and many other perculiar and perverse things.
Maybe it's just because they don't see the white stuff too often eh?

It must be the latest novelty in the UK. Yesterday would have been the first good snowman building day we have had so far this year - it was warm enough to melt the snow and make it stick together. It's now all frozen over again and has a crispy shell, it may be snowmanable later but probably not. You tend to see more ice forts than snowmen
