Snow Blower Rage
#1
Just heard this story on the radio whilst dropping kidlet off at school - can't find a link - maybe someone else can?
Anyway - in Edmonton yesterday a 40 odd year old man got a 71 year old woman neighbour by the throat when she blew snow from her path onto his cleared driveway. A war of snow-blowers - each blowing on to each others' paths commenced until finally the guy lost it and started to insult the woman - then the neck incident - then the woman's hubby (72 I thinkthey said) waded in - he got punched - the 40 year old is now up on charges.
Whew - those snow-blowers are trouble!

Whoops - looks like I was listening to the national news not the local like I assumed!!
My bad.
Glad you found it - thanks - I kept checking the Edmonton websites all day and couldn't see anything - I was beginning to think I was going mad.
A snow blower war would be pretty big news locally - when we first arrived, there was a news report on the fact that some guy had had his carrots nicked from the garden in his front yard! That one ran for days.
Alternatively, it could be a duplicate incident afterall, and that snow-blowers have been sent to us from the dark beyond to incite violence and madness amongst normally calm and happy people... But probably not.
Thanks again

..as opposed to the U.S where a teenage was shot and killed for stepping on a person's grass.
