Default Snack food

I'm sure that you all indulge one time or another in one of those high calorie salt or sugar fixes. So, do you have one - ranging from crisps/potato chips, to that favourite choclate bar or sweet toffee/candy?

Over on the 'Middle East' forum, someone posted the '35 KitKat varities from around the globe', which I had never thought of or seen in my travels

Anyone?

I have always been the Mars Bar & plain crisps person, with both of them eaten together at the same time.

I don't believe all those KitKats but I like the idea of the Tiramisu one.

I prefer dark choc to milk but dark KitKats don't do it for me. Nor the mint ones, which is surprising coz I like mint choc and coffee, like Aero.

Sour Cream and Onion Pringles definitely do it for me, and they're nice in a sandwich too.

Dry Roasted Nuts go supremely well with a whisky & 7up.

Cadburys Fruit and Nut.

My second fave Pringles

Birds custard and sticky toffee or treacle pud from our local store is yum.

I tried the cookies and cream kitkat today. It was expensive and didn't taste too much different from a normal one -

I love me some chips&dip, or Twistees

If you put a plate of bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar I won't stop eating it

Pringles say in their adverts that once you pop a can open you can't stop eating them but then why do they provide a resealable lid?

It's to keep the sound of the sea in for when it's empty.

A bit of this and a bit of that, with a preference for simple tastes, not gimmicks, and plain/dark chocolate over milk chocolate on almost every occasion. Sometimes salty, sometimes sweet, but never mixed - so no chocolate-dipped pretzels or caramel popcorn for me.

My preference is for McVities biscuits - plain chocolate Homewheat (digestives) and Hobnobs, but that might be due to me previously working for them - that loyalty didn't carry over to KP crisps, because M&S crisps are better and are (were?) made by KP too.

My treat treat is a double decker. Not really a slacker though, I just don't buy junk foods. OH will fill the trolley if we're shopping together though. I just go past those aisles.

I like bananas. For the record, Canadian brewer beers are dreadful. Tried two diffent beers on my first evening here, haven't had alcohol since. AA TAKE NOTE, give them Canadian beer and they will be in remission.

Oh I didn't drink more than a third from either glass. Yuk.

Definitely a Tunnocks Teacake for me which I can only find in Walmart. They're not too bad if you only have one. And as I don't shop at Walmart, I can usually make the box of 6 last a while. Or, homemade chocolate mug cake, cooked in 1 minute, is a must if we have nothing else chocolatey in the house
