Hi everyone.
I have been keeping in contact with Lisa and have now been asked to share a wee update with you all.
Hopefully Lisa will have some time to update you herself in a bit . Her main focus & concern though remains with Justin at this difficult time & that he in turn has the space and time he needs for his well being.

Lisa, Jason
Have you heard of a group called Workability Society?I googled and they have a very positive attitude to helping people with disabilities including mental health to access suitable work.It may just be on Vancouver Island though I'm not sure. You might find it interesting and perhaps helpful.
Best wishes to you both.

No internet for a week and then get on to find all this about Justin, so sorry to hear about all his problems and how it is affecting his family, and sending all wishes for a speedy recovery.

I too have been away from the forum for a week or so. I was so sorry to hear this news but I am astonished that at such a time you would think to keep the forum members updated. J is such an insightful person and has so much to contribute to this forum so he holds a dear place in the hearts of those who regularly contribute/ read. So it is truly kind of L to keep us up to date. It is the peculiar nature of these forums that you pick up patterns in people's communication and, as we are all humans, we tend to worry when people stop responding.
Warm wishes to you both. Thinking of you

OK...it's been established that we like the kid!
What can we do to make it actively better for him?
We will do it...but what?

I think firstly you could stop calling him kid, I'm sure he's middle aged isn't he ?

A public forum is not a place to go for a cure for mental health IMO. It's ok for wasting time, information outlet or just joyous banter.
Maybe better to seek professional help and come on here a little less while he is in recovery, is amazing how some on the web can wind up others and not even realise the harm they do, look at what happend to Smiffy when the US forum got into him !!!
Get better soon JS, then and only then come on here and give us all some high price rental ranting :@)
