I thought it was going to be a spanking thread too, not sure if I'm disappointed or not. Anyway, I like slippers and I like fluffy bed socks too, OH on the other hand thinks im nuts and doesn't understand how my feet can still be cold after being snuggled up in flffy bed socks and fluffy slippers

Since going to wooden flooring I have a pair of memory foam slippers. They are wonderful and I wear them all the time inside.

My teenage Son has now started wearing them when I am at work, I know what he is getting for Christmas. Doesn't every 17 year old boy want a pair of slippers for Christmas?

I started wearing slippers a couple of years ago and did think it was because I was getting older sadly.

BUT I discovered that if you wear the bootie kind of slippers your ankles stay warm too... Niiice!!

As for men wearing dressing gowns...yes please, it makes them so so cuddly!!!!

Barefoot in the summer. In winter, I wear a pair of Crocs that are only ever worn inside. I have learned to not walk around in socks in a house that is 100% wood floors. Deffo not on stairs (particularly if there is no handrail).

Oink.. No, No, NO. I can't see you as a slipper man !

Wearing them is a point where life is ebbing away from you !

I go bear foot in the house and have an old pair of flip flops (which are dropping to bits but comfy!) by the back door to go out with the dog if need be. Otherwise I'll just go into the garage bear foot and even if popping outside for something quickly I'll go bare foot (and yes we do have mats inside the house to wipe feet)

I won't even get onto the dressing gown saga....

Man up and go bear foot.....

P.S. and Yes, I've had the cane, slipper and hand across the back of the leg in front of the school during assembly and there's nothing wrong with me.... The odd twitch and flashback and the need for heavy medication in the form of alcohol but isn't that normal

I remember when as teenager I was down the pub and was ogling this girl and the old bloke next to me said he'd rather have a meat pie than sex. That's sort like wearing a dressing gown, you've signalled to the world that you've given up any hope and its the beginning of the end.

Didn't help with your spelling though. Bare foot not bear foot, unless you have very hairy feet and claws in which case you don't need footwear and live up to you avatar.

Do you really go outside in flipflops in the winter?

We have slippers/indoor shoes and take them with us when we go visiting.

Didn't realise that I had to have correct spelling and be gramatically correct on the forum but shall try better next time.

And yep - I do wear flip flops or go bare foot just to pop out and in (when flipping steaks over on the BBQ for example)

When visiting I'll take my shoes off when I enter the house but don't take anything with me.

Well you should realise by now. Pay attention .

Flip flops in freezing temps, crazy. Actually i think flip flops are crazy in general, how the chuff do you walk with that thong thing between your toes, it's bloody agony. I am so not a flip flop person.

They aren't flip flops as such. More of a one strap across the top sandle style.

Not a big fan of the bit between the toes either.
