Didn't realise that I had to have correct spelling and be gramatically correct on the forum but shall try better next time.
And yep - I do wear flip flops or go bare foot just to pop out and in (when flipping steaks over on the BBQ for example) When visiting I'll take my shoes off when I enter the house but don't take anything with me. Flip flops in freezing temps, crazy. Actually i think flip flops are crazy in general, how the chuff do you walk with that thong thing between your toes, it's bloody agony. I am so not a flip flop person. |
Re: To slipper or not to slipper
They aren't flip flops as such. More of a one strap across the top sandle style.
Not a big fan of the bit between the toes either. |
Re: To slipper or not to slipper
Sandals for me around the house - no socks :)

Re: To slipper or not to slipper
Do yo think you can take a pair of slippers back to the shop if you've worn them a bit?
|
Re: To slipper or not to slipper
Instead of slippers I've been wearing the ivory basketweave loafers I bought for drinking at the Hungarian club.

Ha, very funny. No I haven't bought any slippers yet, I was thinking I might give them a test drive so to speak to see if I feel comfortable in them and if not, I was hoping I could return them and get my money back.

My slippers have now gone baggy and they displease me. My dressing gown is like the one Basil Rathbone wore in the Sherlock Holmes films. It has piping.
