Drinking alcohol will just give you an attack of the munchies. Have a black coffee instead

Safeway is where I get mine, in the pop aisle. I just drink it neat without the gin!

So you're not wanting to drink something that contains natural sugar yet are happy to drink something that contains the horrendous Aspertame? I figure normal tonic water won't really have much of an effect on your diet

this thread ain't about sugar/sweetner/artificial stuff that's really bad for you!
I've heard it all before..
it's about finding diet tonic water in the "boondocks" as someone else called alberta!

Hi M - try Sunterra on Elbow Drive. I picked some up for my mum's last visit - she doesn't have the diet version but I think I remember seeing some. Might be worth giving them a call?

Good luck! J

I get it at Superstore. President's Choice brand. Any store supplied by Loblaws should be able to get it for you.

Fairy Snuff. You said you were craving a G&T yet are struggling because you can't find diet. I merely stated that "full fat" tonic water will do you just as well without negative impact to your diet

(Staring with interest at your lumpy cheek)

Rather suprisingly half the callories in the G&T are the T alone

There are 130 calories in a regular can of tonic, compared to 150 in a can of sprite. Surprised me to find out.

Still, given the hit from the gin, I have to agree, I'd rather have one that tastes "right", but then if you are used to diet tonic, then its what you want...
