Default Sleeping Policemen

What a refreshing change, NOT the TTC this time....LOL

The guy who filmed this got a ticket for improper parking...

The officer jumped out of the car, asked Carpentier for his drivers' licence and gave him a $154 ticket for parking at the side of the road.

Once the video was posted on Youtube and other websites, provincial police informed Carpentier that they might cancel the ticket.

Oh goody, another let's bash the police thread.

(BTW, I'm not defending their actions, but we know nothing of the circumstances that led to them being asleep in a car)

Who said bashing them. Nothing wrong with a power nap while on duty.
I first saw this on CP24 news last ngt, so it already on the TV news.
They could have found a more secluded place though.

One cant help think that giving him a ticket was the wrong thing to do under the circumstances. Some humility under the circumstances would have gone a long way.

You have my apologies if that was not your intention!
