Default The simplicity of a Jeep

I love this video clip....not seen it before but it has been around a while

6 soldiers pull up on a main street in Halifax , Nova Scotia as part of a parade. They're in a standard issue WWII type Willys Jeep. In the span of about 4 to 5 minutes they completely disassemble the vehicle and reassemble it and drive off in it fully operable! The idea being to show the genius that went into the making of the jeep and its basic simplicity.

We did the same thing many years ago in the UK. I took part a number of times for different displays.

2 specially prepared Land Rovers, driven to the start line, stripped, taken over an obstacle course and reassembled, then driven across the finish line.

2 teams competing against each other.

Good fun but always a bit warm when taking part during the summer months.
