Well thats the point really, you are not privvy to what goes on behind the scenes nor what has happened in other threads that tie things like this together. Hence the reason we make the decisions that we do. We don't do it to wind people up, upset people or just because we are bored. Promise.

The threads in question were made to wind up another member, we let it go on for a bit then decided to draw it to a close. Stuff like that is alright up to a point but we have to stop it eventually, cause once it goes on too long its not really funny anymore.

Perhaps the Mornington Crescent thread was closed because it was deemed pointless. Looks like half the threads on Maple Leaf could be closed.

The three word post has over 20,000 posts and there are several other pointless posts on here about nicknames and how you will be defined in the dictionary. Perhaps they should be closed too.
