Default Seed starter kits

Are there ant gardeners out there?

I need to grow some plants from seed and have been looking at getting some sort of light thingy. Has anyone got any pointers for me, my tortoises are eating their dried weeds too quick so I need to grow some thanks all.

Lol. I was planning to try growing some stuff on his table, using his uv light. Was just going to start with a tray of cress to see if it would work.

As you only want it for growing 'weeds' and tortoise friendly plants, could you get hold of a 2nd hand aquarium, perhaps? Put gravel in the bottom (for drainage), put in small pots with your seeds in and use the aquarium light on a timer. It may be a cheaper option than purchasing a 'proper' kit.

I won't? One of the reasons for starting with cress was how quickly it grows, so I was thinking of a staggered sowing, so he can help himself.

I think these kits have heat as well? Second hand stuff in ab can be just as spendy lol.

Has it occurred to you that the ant may be transgendered and therefore the epithet "any" may be offensive?
