I found some very nice photos of various parts of Saskatchewan.

I particularly like the photos of the character houses in Saskatoon.

Hope you like it hot! I assume its about the same in Saskatoon - the forecast for her for the next week is 30-34 degrees I think.
My grass is looking pretty brown in lots of places, but I can't afford to keep the whole thing green!

That's good. Hopefully we will get some new young blood in the St. David's Society. I guess there are probably more Welsh people here but they are all busy with kids and things and don't have time to join such societies.
The St. George Society folded earlier this year because it didn't have enough members, and I would guess that most of the people in the St. David's society are 50s or 60s (and some even older!) Still, I enjoy it and the food at the functions is always excellent. I guess the Welsh are good singers and good cooks!!!

Yes Lorna - same for me. I just go to eat - I don't contribute any of the food! And as for singing, I don't even sing in the bath - and if I did sing anywhere it would certainly not be in Welsh!!!

BTW - we never heard from your friend who is in Castlewellan at the minute. Have you any idea how long he is here for? Thanks Liz.
