For Robski - about house
I think it was you posted a thread about how you had purchased a house and had met all the conditions and then the vendor backed out.
I asked a lawyer at work. He said that if you had fulfilled your side of the contract and then the vendor backed out - you could sue the vendor for damages and you would win.
After all, a contract for purchase and sale of a house is a legal contract. You upheld your side of the deal - but the vendor did not uphold his. You had probably prepared yourself for moving into your house and therefore you could claim for the monetary losses you suffered, as well as for the inconvenience etc.
