Reliable VPN UK TV
Hi there, we seem to be having issues lately trying to access BBC iPlayer etc.... we are with Strong VPN who recently took over our previous VPN, unblockus.
we are with Xplornet fixed wireless internet as we have no other options where we live. We are reluctant to put the DNS on the router because we also watch BritBox and Amazon prime and it has affected the ability to watch those.
Ideally we would like to watch on our Apple TV, as we have two IDS, one for UK and one for Canada.....
any suggestions welcome.

hoxx add-on. Need to sign up for an account. Have it in your browser. Free option as well as pay option. Turn it on when you want it, otherwise off. Cast to TV if desired.
Occasionally you may find it needs a few attempts (similar to redialling when a phone number is engaged) or as with other VPNs it may not do the trick one day but a couple of days later it does. But that's only a problem if you want something live.
I see there's a new series of 'Strike' on...I just tested hoxx on it and it worked second time.

Expat prime TV. It's 14.99 Euros a month which equates to about $23.00 Download the app to smart TV or phone. Watch direct through TV or cast from computer or phone. Has every single UK channel and many more, 7 day catch up and 10 hours recording for those programs you want to keep to watch another day. TV Mucho was another and cheaper but they stopped showing some channels due to issues with the US as channel 5 for one is under US ownership. Anyhow you can watch it anywhere so if you travel across Canada on holiday you can still log in and watch providing you have wi fi and most important you do not need any kind of unblocking service or VPN. It's not 100% problem free but pretty damn reliable and to be honest about a quarter of the cost of what our cable TV was.

Express VPN not working. Customer service.

"I'm sorry for the trouble. BBC iPlayer is known to block VPN providers from time to time. We are aware of the current problem and our engineers are working on a fix. BBC iPlayer is currently working over the UK - London server location, but still UNSTABLE, may require some reconnect to get it to work. We are still working to resume fully as soon as possible".

Re: Reliable VPN UK TV
I find occasionally I need to open a new BBC iPlayer tab and that seems to do the trick and allow me access. Obviously my IP Address hasn’t changed, so don't u’stand why, but why question it.
