That's fantastic news, we've looked at Alberta Health Services and have seen that there seems to be loads of jobs available.
Now we just need to wait for our PR visa to come through.

I take it you're both general nurses? I'm a paed one and when I applied to CARNA -think that's what it was called, I would have had to have sat loads of exams in everything despite not having studied them. If I wanted to nurse there I'd probably have to retrain as general.

Yep,
Were both Gen Nurses in the Army, My wife has specialist quals in ITU and I've a PG Cert in Advancing Healthcare Practice and currently work in PD and orthopaedics although have experience in lots of areas.
We've looked into registering with CARNA, were going to submit for evaluation and plan to submit our application once we have confirmation of our PR VISA.
